Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how VSDXAI ("VSDXAI", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use vsdx.ai and its diagram-generation services.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, profile image, authentication identifiers, and account settings.
• Project content: Source files, prompts, extracted text, diagram XML, generated versions, and export metadata that you choose to add to a project.
• Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, request logs, feature usage, and diagnostic events needed to operate and secure the service.
• Billing records: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, purchased plan or credit package, payment status, amount, currency, and invoice references. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
• Communications: Messages and contact details you provide when contacting support.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• Provide authentication, projects, AI generation, diagram editing, VSDX export, subscriptions, and credit accounting
• Store and synchronize the work you ask us to save
• Respond to support requests and service communications
• Measure reliability and improve product performance
• Detect abuse, protect accounts, and investigate technical incidents
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

Project Files and AI Processing

Project source files are stored in private object storage and retrieved with short-lived signed requests. To complete a generation you request, relevant content may be processed by AI and diagram reconstruction providers, including OpenAI and Layerback. We send only the material needed for that operation. Do not upload confidential or regulated material unless you are authorized to use the applicable providers for that material.

Storage and Retention

When you delete a project, its stored source objects are scheduled for removal. Archived project records may remain for a limited recovery and integrity period before deletion. Transient generation payloads are periodically removed, while saved diagram versions remain available until their project or account is deleted. Security and transaction logs may be kept longer where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse or meet legal obligations.

Data Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport, private storage, and short-lived signed requests to reduce unauthorized access. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should keep your account credentials secure and review generated files before sharing them.

Service Providers

We use service providers for functions such as Google authentication, Neon database hosting, Cloudflare object storage and delivery, Vercel application hosting and performance analytics, Resend email delivery, Stripe payment processing, OpenAI AI generation, and Layerback diagram reconstruction. These providers process data under their own terms and only for the functions we ask them to perform. Providers may process data in countries other than your own.

Your Choices and Rights

You may update your account information, delete projects, or delete your account through the product where those controls are available. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements.
